I teach at a high poverty Title I school. We have the highest percentage of free/reduced lunches in our county. Unfortunately, these students have to face many hardships that other children never have to face. Eating healthy and exercising are not top priorities for most students when there are so many other challenges at home. While students are in my care, I want to promote good health! I will use these activities to also promote positive social behavior as well.
