I am fortunate enough to be able to teach at a wonderful North Carolina Intermediate School. We are a large district in Western North Carolina. Because of our lagging economy, it has been difficult meeting the needs of our students. Students are engaged with technology at very young ages and schools need to keep up with the changing times in order to entice learning. We, as teachers, have to find new ways to teach, learn, and engage our young learners.
