My students need a book with U.S. History Reader's Theater scripts and five Acer Chromebooks to spark their creativity and art skills. I envision my students practicing their scripts with a partner. They can then record their performance on Chromebooks to share their play with others.
Students will then create their own plays about events we are learning in US History. Not only will students learn performing arts, they will practice reading, writing, and learn history, all while they are learning to communicate and collaborate with others. Although students in my class have difficulty learning, I believe these materials will get them excited and help them become life-long learners.
