I teach children in first, second and third grade. My students are passionate about learning. They are very curious and like finding answers on their own. I have been amazed at how tech savvy students have become in the past 19 years and I want to continue to grow that skill. Living in Montana we don't have access to large museums, science institutes, history exhibits but through technology we can visit these places from our own classroom. This past year I had a first grade student incredibly interested in e-coli; he spent hours researching and writing about it. Unfortunately, that took up the computer so no one else could use it. My students are always asking, "Can I look up....?" They love learning and love having the freedom to explore. I love helping foster that love and excitement! I want to bring incredible opportunities to incredible students.
