We currently use a CD player in our Listening Center. The CD player is outdated and often breaks down on us. Giving the students the opportunity to listen and read books on an iPad will open the door to a wider variety of books that our students can listen to. Listening to stories being read is an important part of building fluency and comprehension for our students. We would love to promote newer technology in our classroom by incorporating an iPad into this center. We would be able to download newer books and apps for them to use in this center. This will help keep our students engaged and open the doors to learning!
