A math classroom that challenges, engages, and inspires my 8th graders has always been my goal. My students are kind and respectful but not perfect; they are equal parts goofy and intense. Our classroom is hands-on, tech-infused, and chock full of personality! On any given day, students might be working out math on their white board tables, collaborating and debating with classmates, exploring rich tasks, and using iPads to record video, graph data, and model with equations. We THINK deeply, we PERSEVERE through failed attempts, we DO math.
