Many of my students are not able to get books and materials on their reading level. When they receive these, they will be able to take them home during our virtual days and read on their level without frustration. We want them to feel confident instead of frustrated by text that is too complicated for them.
The students will be using the magnets and the worksheet pockets in the classroom for small group/ large group guided reading to help them get excited about reading and literacy. They will be able to write on worksheets using dry erase markers to practice their skills while saving paper. They will also be able to use the magnets to practice making words for writing with a hands-on approach to spelling and phonics.
