My students are hard workers and want to learn. They love to read, alone or with friends. They love to read nonfiction books and talk about what they learned. There are always certain "topics" that become popular with the kids. Right now: dinosaurs and horses! Our school is very supportive of different teaching styles. My style involves a lot of choice from the students. They choose what they want to read about, what they want to work on, and where they want to work.
