My students are a mix of students with severe/profound disabilities, and general education students. The students work collaboratively in small groups and/or one-on-one, and they create amazing art projects. Some of the students require hand-over-hand assistance, and many of the student with severe disabilities are non-verbal, or limited verbal. All of the students learn how to work with each other, and develop a mutual respect and friendship with each other. This is a unique integration program, and has shown great success since its start in the 2014/2015 school year. Kindness, caring, compassion, friendship, and creativity blossom and grow to great lengths with this program that we have created at our school.
