Learning to think critically continues to be a great part of the work that we do in upper elementary. This project will allow students to participate in this work and remain safe by maintaining their own copy of each novel. Students will incorporate the use of Google tools, which they have sharpened due to the pandemic, to extend their exploration of justice and activism.
My class library has sets of books for sharing, but not enough of each book to give one per child to comply with safety guidelines. Because we are a Title I school, many of my students cannot afford to purchase their own books. Your generosity would afford students the opportunity to continue their important work.
