My students will have the chance to learn through the expression of art, whilst we highlight math and vocabulary progression. I want to provide my students a chance to escape through the lens of learning being emphasized in a fun motivative way.
They are eager to explore the magnificent world of third grade! It's going to be a blast
Many students suffered tremendous loss of instruction by not being in class or having the ability to complete assignments due to COVID-19 affecting their personal lives. With little to no resources at home and no internet access I want to be able to provide my students with the chance to take books or math flashcards home. I want to provide my families with the best practices suitable, whilst implementing the use of i-ready and worksheet practice. Entertaining books or mini math games or practice skills may benefit them at home.
At Broadview elementary we have structured PE which allows us to play a classroom game geared towards learning. I would like to focus on multplication kickball which allows the student to break into two teams and work together to solve math problems to be able to kick the ball and reach all bases to win a point for their team. This allows math practice on the field in a fun and engaging way.
