Teaching First Grade is a new journey for me that is challenging yet rewarding. I am blessed with 15 students that are a mix of cultures and learning levels. In my classroom I have a wide variety of ability levels and learning styles that are forever changing throughout the year. I have many students that receive extra support to learn in at their full potential. Working in a high poverty district, students need to feel safe, comfortable within the learning environment, respected, and in control of their day. Giving them the necessary tools and opportunities to learn is my goal. Pushing my students to their full potential will set the stage for the next several years of their learning experience.

About my class
