I am a Special Education Teacher at Wilkinson Early Childhood Center in the St. Louis Public Schools District for students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. The students I serve have a range of disabilities such as Other Health Impaired (students with ADHD, ADD), Autism, Intellectually Disabled, Specific Learning Disabled in the areas of Written Expression, Basic Reading, Skills, Math Calculation, Math Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension. Students may also have a Language Impairment and/or Speech Impairment along with another disability. I am the Resource teacher. I pull students out of their general education classroom to work on individual goals and I also push in to their classrooms to observe and help them in the general education setting along with working with their teacher and any related service personnel they see (speech/language therapist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, vision itinerant, etc)
