I never could have imagined that my school year would begin by teaching my students remotely due to COVID-19. My special needs are amazing, resilient and love learning! The supplies that I am requesting will help me organize my students materials for daily virtual lessons.
In order for my students to meet their goals, I must use a variety of hands on and engaging tools to help my students visualize and understand concepts. The chart paper will help me draw anchor charts, map our writing concepts, show the steps involved in solving math equations and more! My students require concrete and explicit step by step directions. As you can imagine, I go through a lot of chart paper daily when I work with my kindergarten through fifth graders.
The folders will be used by my students to keep their daily classwork organized and ready for lessons each day. Can you imagined its time for class and you cannot locate any of your classwork? These folders will will keep my students organized and prepared. The book bins will be used to hold their daily books for quick an easy access each day.
Now that I am working from home, I would like to prepare activities, charts and other resources to go home for my students to use as a reference. In order to limit the wear and tear of these resources I will laminate them to ensure they can last for multiple uses. My students use picture schedules, choice charts and behavior charts to keep them on track and focused. In order for these to last, they must be laminated.
I am excited to get these tools to ensure that I am prepared and ready to support my students! Thank you for your support!
