Hello Donors! My name is Lindsay "aka the Speech Pie" as some of my students call me and I'm a speech therapist for the Greenfield School District. I am part of a wonderful team that works with students receiving Special Education services. These services benefit students with Autism, behaviors, visual impairments, deaf and hard of hearing, orthopedic impairments, and other specialized medical and learning needs. My students and their families are my "why" and they inspire me every day! Some of my students are able to verbalize, but many others require assistive technology to help with expression. With the help of Donors Choose and the generosity of its supporters, my hope is to be able to provide my speech scholars "aka Haney's Heroes" amazing resources and materials to continue to foster their communication growth and success.
