Constantly I am asked by my students when it will be their turn to use an instrument. I struggle with having not enough instruments to allow all of my kids to have one at a time. This leads to kids arguing over who's turn it is for the instruments and takes time away from the lesson with me having to calm students down. Having a class set of our smaller hand held instruments will allow all students to be engaged and participate together.
With a set of Boom Whackers, we can build up a variety of skills at once. Reading music, rhythms, steady beat, dynamics, and other life skills as well such as how to work as a team. These will allow my students to grow in so many ways all at once.
