We are fortunate to live a rural area with great students and parents. They work hard and strive to do their best. Their parents are involved and care about their child's academic progress. We have parents willing to come volunteer in the classrooms and help students read and succeed. Although we have wonderful parents and students, we don't have a lot of extra funding that some of the more diverse schools have. We are a Title I school, but we are not a diverse school and do not have a large amount of Title I money. We use as much of our "extra" funds to pay for intervention teachers, reading teachers, ESS, etc that we do not get through the state.
