I teach K-5 English as a Second Language to 80+ students who speak other language in their homes. Most of these students lack native language literacy and are eligible to receive free and reduced lunch. During school, I provide small group pull out instruction in English as well as work to support the classroom teachers and parents of my students. My students are developing skills as listeners, speakers, readers, and writers. Their enthusiasm for learning is contagious and I am motivated to provide them with the very best in resources and instruction to help make them successful in their learning and enable opportunities for a bright future. Today- I am working to build the resources in their homeroom classrooms for a school wide impact.
