In Kindergarten, students sit at tables to encourage collaboration, friendship, and working as a team. Due to this room setup, students need a place to put their textbooks, leveled readers, and pencils. These seat sacks would give students a place to put all of their things to keep their work space clear! A clear work space allows students more room to write, draw, and work together on group projects. I plan to give my students individual folders to keep in their seat sacks, allowing me to give my students differentiated work at their level. The students will have work at their level on hand at any moment. Students will also be able to store writing projects and textbooks. The seat sacks will also be used to teach students about responsibility. Since each student has their own seat sack, it is their job to put their materials away when they are done and keep it neat and organized. Finally, since each students will have their own things in an organized place, there will be more instructional time for the students to learn.
