When I was in high school, I decided I wanted to follow in the paths of music teachers who had such a profound impact on me. After being heavily involved in music both inside and outside of school, I went to college with a major in music education so that I could teach music to my own students. One thing was certain: I would never teach in a K-12 school... and that is exactly where I have landed!
