Being a Title 1 district, we have a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds that enter our classrooms. These unique backgrounds make them all diverse learners! As a first-year teacher, I feel it is important to provide students with a voice and a choice!
Students need to be able to have flexible seating to provide them with seating as unique as they are! Flexible seating was a challenge this past year due to Covid, however, thankfully with more flexibility, we can allow students to move around the room.
Who wants to sit at a desk all day? I know I don't, nor would I expect my students too! Help me give my students flexible seating that is easily sanitized and will fit their personalities!
