Aloha!
Born and raised in Hawai’i, I started out my teaching career as a K-5 STEM Teacher for two years at Kauluwela Elementary School to over 400 students. In my third year of teaching, I was placed into a 4th grade homeroom and fell in love with being able to call a set of students my very own! When I started my fourth year of teaching, I decided to bravely expand my horizons and moved to Houston, TX to become a 4th grade ELAR/SS teacher for Diane Winborn Elementary School. Now that I am entering my fifth year of teaching in Texas, I can confidently say my past experiences in the classrooms I’ve taught in and students I’ve served has shaped me into the innovative, vivacious, and passionate educator I am today!
