My classroom does not have seating for the library area. The students love to read and sit on the floor at the moment. This sofa will help bring students over to enjoy a variety of books or puppets. Often the children do not have many books at home and school is their only exposure. There are many children with autism spectrum disorder and books often are the best way to teach emotions. A comfy place to sit will have enhance our classroom experience and make it feel more like home. My classroom will be a more welcoming place with a new sofa for the library.
