Our school is a public International Baccalaureate School. Students are globally engaged and study economies, politics, and social issues in our nation as well as around the world.
This is a mid-city community that pulls from families close by and students who choose to open enroll from a distance away. Additionally, the students are from a mixture of financial means. The Families choose this school because it is an International Baccalaureate School K-8. Students are globally engaged and all units are centered around the form and function of how the world works, while balanced with the Common Core structure and objectives.
Our school is a warm inviting environment. We study global and national current events that impact the immediate world around us. Incorporating these ideas into a well-rounded curriculum is essential to growing global citizens. The students in my class are very genuine and excited to learn.
