With little to no physical activity equipment provided by the school district for Pre-k, my students are unable to successfully develop their fine and gross motor skills that assists with building strength, coordination, concentration, self esteem, and self confidence.
These trykes, scooters, and other active equipment will be used weekly during gross motor development instruction and will be most beneficial for ALL Pre-k students because fine and gross motor skills are being developed throughout the entire year and beyond.
These trykes, scooters, and other equipment will give my Pre-k students the opportunity to develop their fine and gross motor skills necessary at this age and it can reduce the risk for various diseases such as depression and mental illness, heart diseases, diabetes, and obesity.
