I am requesting Arduino starter kits for phase one maker space in our school. Full funding of the Maker Space 1.0 will allow for immediate implication of maker projects. Allowing students to build and code their own creations. Students will apply their knowledge of electrical circuits and ohms law to create and program modern micro-controllers through this project. Arduino circuit creations and programming is an important experience for students to gain skills in electronics, advanced machine programming, and robotics. Funding for the Arduino will allow students in our 9th grade physical science class to transfer the knowledge gained from scientific explorations to a hand's on engineering design practices.
