By fostering a genuine love of reading through a Scholastic Storyworks subscription, students will naturally be successful as they continue to grow their skills with engaging materials that offer a variety of genres to explore. Alongside other books that are available, these magazines will provide another format of reading that will address necessary components of the curriculum such as understanding literary texts, tools for comprehension and analyzing texts across various genres. Not only will students be able to share their learning in both guided reading and literature circles, this subscription will allow for common planning with the teachers on my team who already use this magazine to enhance their reading curriculum.
