My 30 5th graders are a diverse group of learners from a wide range of backgrounds. They are an energetic, bright, happy bunch that love reading, hands on experiments, and creative projects that allow them to struggle safely before finding success. Their excitement for hands-on learning keeps me on my toes, and I'm always looking for new ways to engage and excite my class. I'm excited by our opportunity to participate in donorschoose.org, as it has the potential to provide exciting opportunities for my kids I had not previously thought possible.
