My students are from a low income area in Illinois, near Chicago suburbs. I teach art to K-5 students, a little over 300 in all . These students have art once a week and are always excited to get messy and make masterpieces. I am so excited to be able to teach art to these amazing students who do not always get the opportunity to use art media at home.
