Most of these young learners are just beginning to get a good handle on reading. I want to help these fun first graders grow their minds with a variety of reading materials.
To achieve their reading goals, my classroom needs books, and LOTS of them! Our school has a wonderful incentive program to keep kids motivated and wanting to read. Students earn points by reading books and taking quizzes. My students are all at various reading levels so a wide range of book levels is important for their continued growth. The more they have success in reading the more they will want to keep reading!
