My second graders are curious, eager learners. My students attend a Title 1 school in a community where, despite their economic struggles, learning is the priority. My classroom is full of high energy students ready to soak in everything we study from science and math in our live garden to nonfiction texts. Although my expectations are high, my students constantly wear their contagious smiles and set goals as high as the stars! I adore them, and this challenges me daily to continue striving for ways to help them become successful, lifelong learners. Therefore, I am requesting an ipad for them.
