We have an old classroom easel that we are eager to replace. When we write on it with markers, the lines do not erase. To change a line or two, I must spray the board down and wipe. My students groan as the smeary sludge grows bigger with each swipe. The wheels do not unlock, so when it moves it makes loud sound. The easel bends and screeches when I try to turn it around. I would be glad to have an easel upon which my class would look. For now I need two students to hold up a Big Book. I have a great collection of enlarged texts to read, but with no ledge to stand them on, I struggle to hold texts and lead.
