I teach Special Education at a public school in a very rural area within St. Landry Parish. Over 80% of our students are considered "Economically Disadvantaged". Additionally, we have a large population of students who are learning English as their second language. The students in my classroom have various needs and abilities in which I strive to enhance and foster. I truly believe each student that walks into my classroom is capable of learning, growing, and overall, making a difference in the world.
