My class is oriented towards Project Based Learning, where students work on long term projects and acquire knowledge through immersive exploration of relevant topics. I want to offer my students options to research diverse topics based on their interests, and show them the beauty of old school research with books (along with online research). These books will be part of the classroom library that students are free to use anytime during class, or check out for longer use. And what better way of getting them interested in learning about our country's past than to bring in books they're actually curious to pick up?
