We are baaa-aaack - at least in a hybrid setting. It is sooooo great to be in person, instructing again. Our current room environment is completely foreign to any I've ever participated in with individual plastic barriers around each desk, all facing the same directions, spaced out 6 feet apart. But, that is NOT stopping us from working together in small groups and partners. We are using technology to bridge the gap, from district provided devices to old school whiteboards and markers. The students are interacting much more than they had been on zoom and class discussions are engaging once again. It isn't perfect, but it's an improvement.
