I have a Makerspace after school and want students to be able to take home tangible evidence of their innovative and imaginative work home with them! This will create a more memorable and long lasting experience while embedding some scientific knowledge and application. Our Makerspace club will create wearable e-textiles, specifically bracelets, to provide a personalized learning opportunity while exploring circuits. Students will use felt to create a bracelet with magnetic fasteners. These bracelets will be embellished with a light (a diode) which will be energized by a coin battery. The circuit will be created with conductive thread or fabric!
