A typical day in our 4th grade room starts with smiles at the door. There is a sense of joy that makes our classroom special-the students love to learn! They love to set their own goals and surprise themselves when they see their own potential. I love observing this!
A large percentage of our students fall below the poverty line, yet still come to school everyday with a positive outlook and they are eager to learn.
I am particularly proud to be educating 4th graders in my classroom; as they are building a strong knowledge-base and habits to prepare themselves for middle school. The thing I love most about my school is how we integrate so many different methods of teaching.
