This year, I am teaching a fun-loving K-1 combo class. My students enjoy building intricate marble runs, incredible LEGO creations, and gravity-defying hot wheel tracks. They also like to play store and restaurant. Their extracurricular interests include horses, pigs, Minecraft, beach and tidepool activities, gymnastics, singing, and dance! Our class just completed a student-generated and led sock, blanket, and snack drive for the members of our community who are experiencing homelessness. We got the whole school involved! This is a class full of students with big hearts. For many of them, due to Covid, this is their first school experience, and I want to make it magical and engaging.
