My students are typical high school students, but learning in a second language. They come from Puerto Rico, Brazil, Congo, Bangladesh and many other countries in between. They are thirsty for knowledge and enjoy learning. The school is an urban school with limited funding. Most of the families I work with are well below the poverty line and are here for their children to have a better, more successful life.
