Hello! My name is Mrs. Wilson and I'm a 2nd grade teacher in a Title 1 school in Delaware. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-6 with Special Education along with a master's degree in Reading. Through my years of teaching, I have learned (and am still learning) a great deal when it comes to helping students reach their academic potential. I love to experiment with new teaching strategies and implement research-based programs into the classroom for the betterment of my students.
My classroom is currently built up of 22 students with a wide range of interests, backgrounds, and abilities. We are in a Title 1 school which means a majority of our population are considered low-income and receive free or reduced lunch. One thing we all have in common is an eagerness to learn. My students love to socialize and be as active as our classroom allows us to be!
