My classes are culturally diverse based on ethnicity, race, socioeconomic status, gender, exceptionalities, religion, and geographical area. Our physical education classes are focused on recognizing and appreciating cultural diversity which prepares each of them to be active citizens in the "real world". Therefore, my teaching must be presented diversely so all students have equal opportunities to learn. My students are unique, fun, energetic, competitive risk takers. Each one of them strives to be successful in all aspects of the class. Years from now, I want each of my students to remember this class was where they not only learned about physical education, but where they learned about how to work as a team to solve a problem, how to deal with change.
