Students in Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship start off the year by understanding what it takes to be a great leader. We then focus the majority of the fall semester on employability skills where students are able to enhance job searching, applying, and interviewing skills.
My goal is to guide students in the world of agribusiness by exploring careers, discovering local employers, and creating life long skills that will prepare them to be a part of our working world. Students will search for job openings, learn how to professionally fill out a job application, create a personalized resume, write a cover letter, and participate in real and/or mock interviews.
It is important for my students to have professional materials (resume paper, thank you cards, etc.) in order to stand out and be seen as young professionals. Your contribution to these students will prepare them for life after high school and college.
