My students will be learning about coding virtually. Once we return to the classroom they will use their knowledge of coding and apply that to Dash. My students do not have access to fun coding robots such as Dash. I want to provide them with this robot to open their eyes to coding and broaden their horizons in technology and it’s many uses.
This project will provide my students with fun hands on coding experiences.
While students are at home learning remotely they will be introduced to coding online through code.org. Once we return to school we will use their coding knowledge to program Dash to maneuver through mazes, speak, and toss the ball using the extra add ones. These items will stay with the school for use by other teachers within the building.
