The OSMO educational game system will allow students a chance to practice skills in authentic ways. It will grow confidence in math (Numbers) and spelling (Words), as well as visual thinking (Tangram), problem solving (Newton), creative drawing (Masterpiece), and more. These activities will help my students connect their learning to the real world. OSMO creates an environment for children where the line between fun and learning is blurred. When children are having fun, learning comes much easier. OSMO crosses subject areas and includes various challenge levels for students of differing abilities. It also integrates STEM by using the rules of physics and gravity in the motion of falling balls. I believe, by using the OSMO system, my students will be able to achieve mastery in their subject areas.
