3D printing is an invaluable career and educational skill for all subjects, even beyond STEM classes. Our school library received two incredible 3D Printers through a grant... which are currently gathering dust. Our students cannot use them, for one simple reason: We do not have a way to manage 3D printing requests from students. But there is a solution to this problem. It is an Educational License from 3DPrinterOS.
By donating to our project, you'll be giving ALL of the students at our school the ability to use the 3D printers in our library through a cloud-based printer management software.
We have everything ready to start 3D printing at our campus: the printers, a librarian who can prepare and monitor the prints, and even study hall electives to teach students 3D modeling skills with TinkerCAD. But, unfortunately, none of that can be used if students can't submit their creations to the library's printers in a way that our librarian can manage them. Once we receive a license for 3DPrinterOS, students and teachers in all subjects will be able to create objects and send them to the library to be printed. That way, all students and teachers can incorporate the magic of 3D printing into every one of their classes.
