I teach 5th grade reading and writing at a Title I school in Rice, Texas, Where the majority of our students qualify for free breakfast and lunch.
My classes have some of the biggest personalities always bringing laughter and joy with them. They he most amazing, creative, kind, and curious group of outgoing fifth graders that I could ask for!
Even though most of my kids come from socio - economically disadvantaged backgrounds, they are very motivated and eager to learn everything they can. My wonderful kiddos have worked on their growth mindsets and are knocking down barriers and achieving goals through their hard work and determination!
