My students, like most young children learn best through purposeful play with hands on activities. The stem kit, ramps and balls, blocks and blueprints, hands on number grid and giant number stepping will help them explore engineering, architecture and math in a fun and exciting way. The word houses and the magnetic alphabet maze will give my students some needed practice to lead to their becoming successful readers. These materials will be used in small group, large group and workstation settings.
My students are the engineers and architects of the future. They may become the designers and builders that help prevent the kind of flooding that they witnessed during Hurricane Harvey.
