Bibliotherapy is a way for students to explore various developmentally appropriate topics that can foster conversations that may often times be challenging for them to talk about.
As a school counselor, I see students struggle to find ways to express themselves in appropriate ways. By finding and reading the right topic book, it can lead to conversations that are MUST HAVES with our young adults today.
By building up my school counseling library with these books I hope to be able to have book clubs, individual discussions and activities that can help foster the culture within our school, our students and our community.
