Flexible seating will make a huge difference in my classroom. Each student is unique with their own needs. By providing a variety of seats, students will find one that works best for them. Stability balls would be a great start for flexible seating in my classroom. A cushion disc is another option for students who need a bit of wiggle room.
Allowing students to choose a place to work, that meets their needs, will increase their chances of being successful at school. Some of my students have anxiety. If they are comfortable in the classroom environment, they will want to be at school. Students who have good attendance and feel comfortable will find success.
