Dark and brooding girls with pink pencils and shoes. These snapshots provide a glimpse of our students, a class of doers and thinkers who could benefit from both safe after school options and engaging activities.
The school supports such initiatives with the story book parade and literacy night, yet the fourth and fifth grade group needs a club for after school enrichment. As they come closer to middle school, the idea of building a "literary history" is paramount to building lifelong readers.
